Overview
The early history of the establishment of the Department of Youth and Sports of Kedah started on 1 November 1966 is an agency under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Originally the Department of Youth and Sports is known as the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports of Kedah. In May 1987 Cultural Division was separated and was transferred to the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism. With the move, it has triggered the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Youth and Sports has returned to its original name of ‘Ministry of Youth and Sports, as well as stay up now.
