Majlis Daerah Batu Gajah (MDBG) is responsible in the Planning and Development of its administrative area to create and produce a harmonious, cultured, knowledgeable society life in order to move towards the next millennium. The Batu Gajah District Council’s administrative area covers five precincts i.e. Sg. Terap, Belanja, Tg.Tualang, and part of Sg.Raia and Hulu Kinta. .
