Majlis Agama Islam Selangor (MAIS) is a body corporate according to Section 5(1) Islamic Religious Administration Enactment (Selangor) 2003.On 1st March 2005, The Management Division Administration of Baitulmal (BPB) was moved from Islamic Religious Department Selangor (JAIS) to MAIS and was certified by MAIS Meeting on 14th April 2005.
